Dorset's poem "The Peacock at Home"; Includes: a sheet of rules; a set of ivory counters; 10 cards of invitation; 4 instructional cards; 24 hand-coloured pictorial cards, each of one bird; and a hand-coloured lithographed decorative sheet displaying the title of the game with the peacock and thirteen of his guests; Each player holds pictorial cards which are surrendered as the dealer turns up the invitation card for that bird. The game is won by the first player to have all her guests invited.
