The profits arising from the sale of these tracts was to be devoted "to the assistance of those who have the education of orphan children ... who are destitute of property; the relief of distressed widows; the poor, sick and afflicted sons and daughters of men of all professions; and generous contributions to the blessed missionaries of every Christian denomination."--p.
