Notes Google Books, Hathi Trust, and BL suggest the date of publication as 1820, but BTW discounts this date for two reasons: (1)Thomas Goyder, printer, operated at 415, Strand, from 1824-25; and (2) when discussing the yellow fever epidemic of 1813, Barnard refers to her "recording an event above eleven years gone by" (p 124). BTW suggest 1824 as the earliest possible date of publication.
